Rep Power: 0 | Actually, since that report, Chuck Stenger has told me that the temperature requirement may either be dropped altogether or left at 100F (other states that mandate a maximum temp. also use 100F). The new regulations ARE NOT in place yet; they're still gathering information. Remember, too, that the 100F is a maximum temperature, just as 85F would be a maximum temperature if that's adopted. If OH-based salon owners have any comments, the OH State Board of Cosmetology continues to meet on the issue. You can contact Chuck Stenger at totalyou@yahoo.com, or you can contact the Board directly at 614/466-3834, ohiocosmd@dao.state.oh.us.--Amy E. Hamaker, editorToday's Image magazine ;-) |
