This is a area that I fail at alot. It's so easy to always point out what people are not doing! I do my best to compliment my employees on a job well done! ( Doing this now ).Tracie is an excellent administrator! That's why she has the job. We rarely have disagreements but when we do she stands up for what she believes.(Preaching to myself now)Instead of always pointing out what's not right try to get into a practice of pointing out all of the good things they are doing. praise works much better! We have an adopted son Kris. We got him at age 12 and believe me he was carrying a lot of baggage. ( The stories I could tell you )Kris is now about to be 15 years old and the change that has taken place in his is unbelievable. With Kris we did our best to point out the good things he was doing and try not to hammer him with all the bad. It takes a lot of time but the Praise will WIN!Back to praising my employees ( Feeling guilty ). Tracie has also done a good job of selecting the staff that works with her.Good job people! Keep up the good work! Now I can get back to work. The only problem is that when you are the boss there is no one praising you for a job well done!Oh Well! I knew that when I took the job.Michael

Mike,Thank you so very much for the compliments and praise. All of your employees at Sandollar think extremely highly of you and feel that we could not work for a more fair and understanding boss.I also feel very fortunate to have a boss that I can go to with concerns and know he will listen.By the way, you know who said you over looked her once again.... but she loves you anyway!------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation[This message has been edited by Tracie Williams (edited November 16, 2000).]

Tracie is a wonderful administrator. She believes in this company and it shows daily. She tries her best to be fair and honest with all of her employees(25+) and that is not always an easy thing to accomplish. She is also a dear friend and trying to separate the business and friendship is more difficult than you think. She does it extremely well. Michael is honestly the best boss I have ever worked for, He truly cares about his staff. He understands that sometimes there are circumstances that may take us away from our responsibilities here. He believes every one is entitled to a personal life. This is the first time that I have ever worked for someone who did not "punish" you for being sick or having personal business to deal with. Michael is always very positive to be around. And he runs his company in the same manner and it shows thru his employees. The one thing I can say about working for Mr. Chunn is its NEVER BORING!!! CHANGE IS GOOD!!I feel that we have a wonderful staff, from the CEO to the desk clerks. I truly enjoy my job and coming to work everyday. I would hate to think of going to work and not ending up at Sandollar. ------------------Tonya[This message has been edited by Tonya Crick (edited November 17, 2000).]
