A great marketing tool you have access to daily....Work a "trade out" with local newspapers, retailers, apt communities, restuarants, entertainment centers, fitness centers, grocer, etc.Ask them to display your business cards, tents, coupons, any type of advertisement you may have. Apt. communities will put your cards or tents in "New Move in" packets to their tenants.In return you offer them gift certificates for service in the amount of weekly, monthly, or yearly denominations. Gift certificates work best so the person you trade with can distribute them however is best for them whether it be an employee incentive, contest, drawing, etc....It works best for you and your staff as well. We also do things like this often. We do a great deal of our advertising this way. We have several DJ's and news anchors that use our services and let people know where they got their awesome tan. We also trade certificates with other businesses in our area. They put them in their employee's envelopes or hold drawings as we do. I've tried to give several radio stations gift certificates for on-air give-aways but have so far been met with "We only accept give-aways from cutomers that are currently advertizing with us." Any suggestions on how to get around this?

Kurt K,I have received the same answer many times. However, I have not tried establishing a relationship with any D.J.'s or t.v. personalities. I'm not sure what would work other than placing a ad with them then trying to get spots on the air.
