I have been considering asking local merchants in our area to support me in a discount card offer. Here is my idea.....I want to present each "member" a plastic type credit card with offers from area merchants offering them services or products at a discount rate in hopes of increasing our membership sales. The money they spend to join our membership will be returned in savings when they use the listed merchants.Does anyone else participate in such a program and if so, give me some tips on how I should pursue this.------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation

I used to do these cards for some local groups for fundraising. You can easily do them yourself and not give half of the money away to the company. Just talk to your local printing shop, they can easily make them for you.

I'm participating right now in The Value Card. This is a fundraiser that a local high school band is selling for $10 each. There are 15 merchants on the back that are offering discounts or something free with purchase & it's good for one year.
