Rep Power: 27 | For the first 3 years I had a older man come in salon on the pretense that he was just moving here and his doctor had told him to lay in a tanning bed for medical reasons. But he needed help getting in and out.....Well, the first girl he pulled this on said she would help. Lo and behold when he told her he was ready she opend the door and YEP he was butt naked.... If you have a client like this please tell them they must wear a swim suit or something. I don't allow anyone to help clients anymore... |

Rep Power: 27 | Of course he did. That is why he did it at the beginning of every tan season. It was always the same story, bout just moving to this area, etc. Finally he tried to pull it on me, and I told him we couldn't be in the room with him, but he could use the standing booth. He never came back.. Quote:Originally posted by Forever Tan:The sick thing is that the guy that did that probably ummmm (thinking of proper words) well lets just say got a kick out of it. Now that's sick |

Rep Power: 0 | The only time our staff is allowed to enter the room at the same time as a customer is on the customers first visit. While they are still dressed the clerks show them the room and explain the timers, radios, bed air knobs, emergency button, etc. We frown on our clerks entering the room after the tanner has been in the room. If the bed does not start for some reason we have the customer to appropriately dress before entering. It is hard to maintain a policy when sometimes it's ok and other times it isn't. So if there are procedures in place regarding this no customer can claim you do it for others and not them. This also protects your clerks. There are enough "freaks" out there that try stupid stunts as it is. I would never want to put a clerk in harms way to satisfy a customers request. Maybe customers with special needs or assistance should have someone come with them to the salon for that purpose. |
