Hi, I work for a Japanese guy who owns a tanning salon in japan, recently we have been getting a lot of american customer and they complain about our price. I was wondering if I can get some information on the priceing in the states, and maybe some information about skin types.Thank you!!Sara.

I suggest you remind them they are not tanning in america. House mortgages are higher in Japan as well arn't they?sessions are about 5 to 7 dollars for a regular bed.

You can only price for your area. It is not the same everywear. New York salons could demand twice then say a small town in Alabama. You can't price your prices based on other area salons.

Sara,I would also recommend that you take a look at tansource.com. There is a link available to several tanning associations including "Smart Tan Internationl". These agencies can help you and provide material regarding skin typing & exposure schedules. As far as your pricing..... Tan-U-Too is correct. You need to price within your areas range. We had a clerk to move to Atlanta for college and got a job with a tanning salon and their pricing was double ours.------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation
