Rep Power: 0 | I purchased $8,000.00 worth of tanning equipment from a distributor that was located in Charlotte, N.C. I purchased the equipment in Feb. and to this day I have not seen any money or any equipment. I have on the other hand received broken promises. If any one knows what I can do to get my money back please let me know. I forgot to mention that they closed down and opened under a different name and have done this before. I have talked to another salon who finally after two years got her beds. I am so frustrated....Neon Beach |

Rep Power: 24 | He does this by taking your money, giving nothing in return, closing shop and opening back up again under another name and a brand new reputation... that's how. With pure profit, getting something and giving nothing... you'd make money too and be able to do what he does. This is not only illegal, it's also immoral and unethical business practices. This is not the way you or I do business, that's why we have trouble comprehending the "how" or "why" of it! |

Rep Power: 0 | Who is the distributor? Those of us who are in the process of trying to make a decision about equipment for start up salons don't need to deal with someone like this!! That would be startup suicide...If you can't comfortably reveal the name in this forum for fear of never getting your beds, please email me the name of the skunk. Starting is hard enough without a vulture picking my bones before I even have any meat on them... |

Rep Power: 0 | His origianal business name was McGuire's Sun & Fitness, out of Charlotte N.C. Then he closed down and opened up under Sun America Corp., out of Charlotte N.C. He is now located in Buford, S.C. under now McGuire's Sun America. He still is using the 1800# from McGuire's Sun and Fitness. This is how I got his number because it was on one of my beds and I needed an acrylic. After doing small business transactions with him I started to discuss tanning equipment and the idea of opening another salon. I went to Louisiana to open up another location and waited as my beds were supposed to be delivered. After 2 weeks away from home I returned to North Carolina, closed shop eventually on a business that could not be started. I hope this helps anyone else from suffering the same as we have. I have contacted a Lawyer and plan to file suit. I am afraid though that there is no money to get. Oh, by the way I forgot to mention that when my husband went to his business in rageand demanded money, he wrote us a $2,000.00 hot check............ |
