Rep Power: 0 | I carry them. They sell so-so. They supposedly work with your body to produce more melanin. I had one customer come in and buy 6 bottles to take to Fan Fair with her. Only a few use 'em, but the ones who do...swear by 'em. [ 06-19-2001: Message edited by: LindaW1956 ] |

Rep Power: 27 | Okay, I posted this question just to see what would be said. Now I will tell my story:I hired a girl that was very close to being albino. Her percentage was very close according to her doctor. She wanted to tan but couldn't. We put her in the beds for approx. 3 mins to begin, you got it, she turned pink the white. Everytime., So finally one day I ask her if she would try the Tan Tabs. About a week after taking them she begin to develop a slight color. After about 2 weeks she had built her time up to 10-12 mins. per session. Of course she would never get very dark, but all she wanted was have color so she didn't glow in the dark. Her nick name was "Casper" and she didn't like it at all.. Can't blame her for that. This was the first TanTab 500 mg 100% L-Tyrosine. Just wonder what the new and inproved MegaTanTabs or Mega Pro would have done for her... She moved out of town so I can't test on her. |

Rep Power: 0 | It's amazing isn't it? Do you remember a Cal Tan product that came with the tabs? I can't remember the name....but I used it a couple times, took the pills right before tanning..(which made no sense to me at all), but the color I got was amazing. Coulda been a fluke I guess.I've had the process explained to me, but...don't remember exactly. That was a really good way to test that product by the way! |

Rep Power: 27 | yes i was lucky to have an employee with that skin type, just so i could test tantabs.i also have other customers that take them faithfully, and they are very dark and seem to hold their tan longer that most. so i think they do help. i took them last year, but haven't took them this year. I do believe i can tell a diff. too. |

Rep Power: 21 | Main ingredient is L-tyrosin L-tyrosine is a nonessential organic amino acid that is a building block of protein. It is an organic amino acid due to the presence of a carbon atom in its makeup. Melanin, is derived from L-tyrosine, L-tyrosine is generally well tolerated. There are some reports of those taking supplemental L-tyrosine experiencing insomnia and nervousness. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid supplementation with L-tyrosine. Those with hypertension should exercise caution in the use of L-tyrosine. Those with melanoma should avoid L-tyrosine supplements. |
