Shelly,If you do decide to offer this service, please check out the therapist thoroughly. We did have a massage therapist in one of our salons about 3 years ago. She set her on times and had a cell phone for clients to contact her. We still received phone calls wanting to make an appointment, she was hardly ever there, had customers to show up and she claimed not to have scheduled them....also she was not very mannerism with her language at times. Very abrasive person.Whom ever you decide to bring into your establishment whether they work independently or not they will represent your company due to the association with you.Don't ask them to be apart of your staff if they will damage your reputation. Also, our therapist really didn't bring in that much extra income although you have to be at work to make money.------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation

We had a very similar experience with a nail technician. It was far more stress than it was worth and we got very few new clients from her. She showed up when she felt like it, blew off appointments and when I would call to tell her she had a client waiting she would say, "No, they didn't have an appointment today..." It made us look like idiots. So....she had to go!It is most definately a reflection on you and your salon, so choose wisely!

My experience here and been just the opposite. We have a GREAT therapist! She is here for walk-in's or appointments. She helps us when we get busy. She has even picked up some hours with us during her slower times. Been with us for almost 3 years now and would not know what to do without her. Her clients have started to tan with us, our clients use her for their massages. Mike------------------Take A Trip To The Coast...Palm Coast Tann mike@palmcoasttann.com
