get some samples for yourself and staff, get only what you like, other wise you will be throwing money away.

A lot of times you can make out well buying the sets that offer for example 2 bottles and 10 packets of 5 of the new lotions. You usually wind up 20-40 percent lower than typical cost and anything you don't like just mark down and still make the usual profit, hot sellers keep at retail price and then you know what will move

Re: is buying into 2015 lotion promos worth the hassle?

I usually buy 6 packets of each new lotion I'm interested in, and myself and my staff try them, and also give a few to really good customers to try. Once I've decided what I like and what I want to bring in, I'll order. If the promo pack makes sense, I'll go with that, but not always.

Yeah I always liked buying the starter kits but found that there was usually one or two standout lotions then a bunch of filler lotions. I'm still using JA tanning oil in the house tanning bed. Hopefully I can get more.

Does anyone do low volume PL anymore?

Re: is buying into 2015 lotion promos worth the hassle?

I've been researching distributors, and so far UTI has given me the best % off. Is there another distributor that gives more then 40% off. The next best is all hours at 35%. Also since I haven't been open for long any advice on good lotions to start out selling, that is also reasonably priced. One more question does anyone sell the weightloss products?
