Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? At the salon I work at we carry Designer Skin, Australian Gold, Swedish Beauty, and California Tan. We have many expensive lotions but I was wondering if someone could recommend a cheaper lotion that worked decently $35 or lower? |

Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? Do you carry the SB Botanica Line? Those do really well for my salons and there are a range of price points. SB Cherry Baby retails @ $30 and SB Kiwi Be Friends @ $35. All of them easy sells. |

Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? AG makes a great inexpensive lotion: Accelerator. Also check out Emerald Bay's lotions. I have a client who uses nothing but the Definitely Black and her skin looks amazing; tanned and moisturized at the same time |
Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? The Swedish Beauty Botanica line smells AMAZING, by the way. |
Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? ag bodaciously black sells well at our salon. I don't carry much AG because customers have issues distinguishing my AG with the AG @ Walmart.then i have to explain why their product is $5 and mine is $30. It's having to make 2 sales in principle for a $30 bottle. Designer makes love ds Sweet romeo which replaced get down brown. It is a very hot seller especially as it works just as well as an outdoor lotion |
Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? SB is great.....shelf presence on the bottles and great range of pricing. Don't carry Supre Products....I used to send Supre back. Devoted Creations has a fun economy line this year...very up to date and juice based...sells well and will work with your line up. There is an Amazon seller that is coming in lower on DC products than Four Seasons...wonder if they will do rebate sheets for diamonds if we buy Amazon? |

$5 was a general statement but I know that I have customers daily that try and use an outdoor lotion in my facility which is truly the biggest concern. It is an uphill battle fighting the average consumer which is smart enough to comparison shop between salons and online. I cant and wont match online prices but I do what I can to eliminate it. I keep a lot of "hard to find" lotions. When a lotion is discontinued I will order the remaining bottles from fourseason for example today I ordered DC iced bronze couture a couple weeks ago which isnt that easy to find anywhere else. As long as my customers are A. using lotions B. making sure their lotions are for indoor use and C. using authentic products then I am happy. I'd be even happier if the online lotion business would shut down lol |
Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? The online business has only begun....I repeat...stop letting them use unknown lotions from the DC Groupon lotions, Ebay, Amazon, Walmart in your beds. They have to have a bed to use it in....when they can't find a place to use it they will not buy it....hence the on liners fold. I can't buy bottles of wine at the corner liqueur store and take it into my favorite restaurant to drink or my local nightclub. Why? Because they are not stupid. I changed and I am watching my curve bend again. |
Re: Cheaper Indoor Tanning Lotion? We recently started carrying Emerald Bay as our cheaper line & they have been selling very quickly (better than any other cheap line we have ever tried). Especially Definitely Black, Sun Luvin', & Dark N' Dazed. Plus, they all smell awesome which I think really helps! |

They've actually started to do this where I am in certain restaurants, you can bring in your own wine, you just have to pay a fee per bottle. |
