Rep Power: 21 ![]() | Re: Lotion or no Lotion The tanning process pulls moisture out of your skin, so you need to hydrate or replace what is being pulled out. That is the #1 reason to use lotion. #2 reason is to accelerate the tanning process and make the skin receptive to the UV light. I have always been amazed at people who will spend $75 on their hair, $50 on their nails, $200 on their teeth, spend hundreds on the best quality makeup, but go to walmart and spend $4 on their skin on product that is the bottom of the barrel, and clogs their pores with alcohol and other fillers; the most important and noticeable part of their bodies. Go figure. My advise, skip the bleach and eye makeup, and get a decent bottle of indoor tanning lotion. We sell good lotion in my salon for $10 a bottle. |
