UGH... I hate them, but they will probably sell. I'll have to think about this one. We just got over the Jersey Shore ones.

Like I mentioned elsewhere, they are not tan. If the product works well, it might sell, but need to know the price point first. Snookie sold in my salon as did Pauly D.....JWOWW did not, nor did Situation.

New Sunshine Announces Partnership with the Kardashians

Free samples or it isn't true! Seriously, do you think their lotions would sell like the Shore kids? I started my salon at the end of the popularity of the lotion, but everyone knew about JWOWW or Snookie especially. Everyone knows the Kardahians, of course, but will people be buzzing about it??

I expected packaging with a sleek and modern look from the Kardashians, similar to their Dash retail concept. While I'm a Kim K fan, this wouldn't fit with our brand filter.

Totally different here. JWOW outsold Snookie 10-1. JWOW was in to top 5 selling lotions this last year for me. Most people's comments when you showed the Snookie was " I don't want to look like Snookie" and who could blame them. I think Snookie has the better scent and bottle but that did not turn into sales. Pauly D was a flop.

Jersey Shore lotions did not sell well for us. I think they were too late to the party, perhaps if they came out a year earlier.

I think Kardashian line will sell. They won't be your best selling lotions, but they'll sell. Overpriced, which is expected due to their name, fame and lifestyles. As long as they keep hitting the gossip mags and the drama stays in the "reality" show they'll do fine. I was watching the show one day and a reference was made to tanning, and I know they spray tan . The exposure could not hurt, and I hope New Sunshine has educated them on how to put tanning in a good light. They're getting royalties so it's in their best interest to keep this thing positive.

Like it or not, they are promoters, so we might as well ride the train with them and use it to bring in the $$. I've already started talking it up in the store and some people can't wait - so they're doing something right.
