Best lotion for very dark customers? - tanTALK

I have a few customers who are already pretty dark but they want to be darker. I've had them use several DS lotions and they are still not seeing the results they want. Any suggestions on lotions for VERY advanced tanners?

Have you had them try Smoke by Supre? Seems to work pretty well for my tanners.

There DOES come a point where you cannot GET any darker.

A few things to try:

1. Tingle lotion

2. Tan extender moisturizing lotions for daily (non-tanning) use (tanning is very drying to the skin - they sound like frequent, maybe even TOO frequent tanners - skin may be exfoliating off and the color with it)

3. Tanning body wash (same as above)

4. Use of a sticker (new one in a different place if they already use one) to show they ARE still actually getting results even if they think they aren't

5. Upgrade to stronger equipment if they aren't already using your best

Do you mean Smoke Black?? This is a dark bronzer that a lot of people who are pretty tan and can't or want to get darker. Smoke the non bronzer version is a maximizer/accelerator.

But sunsally is right,you can only get so dark.genetics do play a role in that and skin types.

I just tried Squeeze's Goji Juice. Dark, dark DARK! It has natural bronzers, though, and doesn't contain DHA, but it gives some wicked color.

DC Extreme Situation is nice for those who already have a dark tan.

If I have someone that has reached their tanning plateau, I usually recommend combining a really great moisturizing/tan extender fresh out of the shower and after tanning along with a great lotion, such as Fiji's Unisex and Tandoori. But, since those two are no longer available, it would be DS Tinted Love along w/Luminary. That gets them super dark..and like Sally says, have them move the sticker to a different place to gauge their results. As we all know, the better condition your skin is in the darker you will get. Hope that helps!
