general questions.

hey guys, I posted on here earlier yesterday and you all were so helpful! I was wondering if you could help me with other questions.

- how long should you wait to shower after tanning? I've heard 6 hours, mainly because the bronzing agent in the lotion, is this true?

- is there a good time to go tanning at an indoor salon? (ie. when you first wake up, afternoon, later at night)

- how soon before tanning should you put lotion on?

- is it better to do an aerobic exercise before tanning to get blood flowing?

If it has any DHA in the lotion, yes, waiting 4-6 hours before showering will give it time to develop. Otherwise it makes no difference. Make sure you moisturize well after showering - a tanning extender lotion is best.

Makes no difference - go when it is most convenient for you and/or when the salon is slowest so you can get the bed you want and have the least wait!

You can put it on immediately before the tan - this is fine. If you put it on before you get to the salon, don't make it TOO long before or it may rub off on clothes, get washed off at the sink,..

- is it better to do an aerobic exercise before tanning to get blood flowing?

When the blood is well oxygenated it DOES tan better. So it can help - but isn't critical. Tingle lotions help to achieve this topically as well.
