The reality is tanning salons sell way too many bronzing products. Tanners need to be using non-bronzer so they see real results from your tanning beds not fake results from DHA.

I dont care for DHA. You get a great "tan" then a week later your half as dark because the DHA has exfoliated off.

Wich is why MY salon sells VERY few bronzers, even bronzers without DHA.

Bronzer without DHA are pretty much worthless. Most of it will wash off in the shower.

Re: should i buy a lotion w/o DHA?

You posted in another thread about Secret Rapture. I thought it was good but the DS I really like is Drama Queen.

From AG, Hot is really good as well.

I no longer carry New Sunshine, so as far as the new products go, I cant give you any feedback.

DC- Retro Couture is excellent also.

Re: should i buy a lotion w/o DHA?

Nothing Lasts Forever

When you use DHA to help you achieve a tan, you can't expect the results to last forever. Rather, tans achieved with DHA begin to fade after application and generally fade completely away three to ten days after application. When DHA is combined with Erythrulose, however, the tan may last a bit longer. Erythrulose works in the same way as DHA, which is why the combination of the two ingredients helps to improve the effectiveness of the sunless tanning lotion.

Using Caution When Tanning

You may have noticed that some tanless sunning lotions brag about the fact that they do not have DHA. . Since DHA is so effective at helping people achieve a great looking tan, you might wonder why some manufacturers would make sunless tanning lotions without DHA. The reality is that some people are allergic to DHA and experience skin problems when using products containing DHA.

Thus, it depends on your skin type and skin reactions on the lotion containing DHA.
