I did want to mention that I don't mind having a lotion with a bronzer as long as its natural looking, brown not orange, and doesn't streak....but I do want to purchase a great lotion without bronzers too. I think I have decided on DC Haute, but am wanting to get a couple more. I had included Lime n da Coconut be/c their are several people that have posted that they use it... Any other suggestions? |

Re: Adding to my lotion rotation... Wow, I hope your owner does not read TanTalk? Anyway ,I like DB hottie's choices. But as a note, with your list selection the prices are all over the place ($45.00 -$99.00). Make sure you have a varied selection of lotions in each category and the three price point levels. You should have a good mix of economy line lotions (with bronzer, without bronzer and a tingle lotion here and there) and an equally good mix of premiums. Considering all skin types when you purchase because really fair skinned people will not do well or be happy with lotions that have extreme bronzers. Best wishes! | |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Adding to my lotion rotation... Well, I'm purchasing for myself so price point is not an issue. If I'm going to buy a lotion, I want a good quality lotion that will give me the results that I want and take care of my skin...and the price doesn't matter. My skin type, I'm dark...well, with no sun, very fair, but I have been tanning for about 2 months and just got back from a week vacation to the beach so I'm pretty dark. Right now, I'm at a point where I am stuck and can't get any darker. Again, I'm purchasing for myself and not the salon, so skin type will only be for myself. And as far as the salon owner, there is NO WAY that she reads this forum because then she'd actually know more than she does. She is very young...mommy and daddy bought her a salon because she got herself in a situation and needed some way to support herself. That is besides the point...the first time I went in there last year after having a baby, no tan at all, she sold me Fiji Samba Dance. Do you know how streaked and orange I was?!! When I told her, she looked at me like I was crazy. The past few weeks, I've been trying to read about lotions here and went in to asked to purchase some samples with no bronzers...they had DS Phoenician, DC Mon Ame, and DC Haute and she said that they all had bronzers. I purchased them anyway and when I went back in to talk to her about purchasing a bottle of DC Haute, she argued that it did have bronzers and then tried to push Nano on me. She has no tan what so ever and I feel like when I go in, I can not ask her for advice. How can you run a business when you don't know what you are selling?! AWWWWW!! |
