tanning problem

I've been going to a stand-up bed. I'm using Naturally Dark lotion by Australian Gold. I chose that lotion because I don't like strong smells and it is unscented. Also, it has no tingle or bronzers. I really just wanted a tan intensifier or accelerator. I didn't really want bronzers because I don't like the way they rub off and stain/streak. I'd rather have natural color. If I wanted bronzers, I could just use sunless tanning lotion. I've never tried tingle lotions before because I didn't think I would like that feeling. Anyway, I like the stand-up bed. I'm getting good color on my torso, but my legs are getting left behind. They don't have much color at all. What can I do to boost the color in my legs so that they are the same shade as my chest, stomach, and arms?

Re: tanning problem

Your tummy is darker because it is closer to the blood flow through your heart. You really should experiment with lotions more. I don't think you've tested out many to know the differences. There are both natural bronzers and self-tanners. A tingle may be all you need on your legs as well. :)

Re: tanning problem

So, what is the difference in "natural bronzers" and "self-tanners"? I did think that a bronzer was the same as what is in a self-tanner. I've used self-tanners before but just got tired of the constant smell they leave on you and how they start to rub off. As I said, I've never tried a tingle. I hate feeling sunburned, so I never tried them. Can you recommend some specific ones that might help my legs?

Thanks so much!

Re: tanning problem

There are "non-tingle heat" products out there.

Re: tanning problem

Has more to do with the stand booth than the lotion. Booths hit the upper body better than the legs. You need to do a bed to hit the legs better...or stand on your head.
