Been tanning about a week now. Last few tans I have been using the bronzer Get Down Brown as per my other thread. Well tonight I had people comment that I'm more pinkish/orangeish than tanned... Whats the deal. Am I doing something wrong? I'm rubbing the lotion in and using the 100w beds for 6 minutes.

someone correct me if i am wrong, but GDB is a DHA free bronzer so I would doubt it would be turning you orange. what moisturizer are u using? it does not have self tanner in it does it?

No thats all I use.... When I get out of the shower I use a baby oil with Aloe and Vit E but thats it... People are telling me I look more burnt than anything...

You probably develop more of a reddish tan,back off a day or 2 ,then you will see if the brown will develop.

whatever you do stop using baby oil anything!! Its made from crude oil & doesn't really mositurize your skin-just puts a layer of oil ON your skin, nothing else. It's also not good for the tanning acrylic if you have that on your skin when you tan(could be part of the cause for getting pink?)
Get a good moisturizer from the salon & start using that.
As stated GDB doesn't have DHA, so it couldn't be turning you orange.
Go 5 min every other day for a week if you are turning pink at 6 min

yea u look a little red in that pose. at 1st i thought it was cause you where flexing so hard but this concern of yours explains the redness! haaha
