Generally you should try to moisturizer two times daily... So you're looking at spending $1 per day for a longer lasting tan! =) hope that helps!

Tanning salon moisturizers are made for the tanning beds, it has the nutrients that your skin needs and it will extend the life of your tan. Right now you are wasting your money by buy drug store or avon products. |

You get the same great effect without the tingle and burning. You will be red at first just like the tingle but it goes away! Try SB Tickled Pink. Last edited by OSUCampusTan; 02-11-2009 at 09:35 AM. Your salon should be the one educating you on what you need to help your tan. If they are not, find another one. And as someone said, you need to change your beds since u may be in a plateau. Also switch lotions occasionally or you will hit plateau as well. No reason to get offended. people are giving you advice. But it is sad that you have to go to a forum when there are people that work at your salon that should have gotten you through this already without having to seek other help. Ask for the owner and if they don't suugest you switch beds or lotion, go somewhere else because you will never get a tan there. And make sure you tell them what Moisturizer you use. :) Angel is WELL worth the extra $5. I can't keep that stuff on my shelves! Once you ppl try that, they never go back. Ask your salon for a sample pack of that. Good luck. |

Reason being • UVB is more efficient at signaling melanocytes in your skin to begin producing more melanin. • UVA is more efficient at oxidizing the melanin your skin has already produced, turning it brown. I have alot of new customers that tell me they try to tan and it never works. Once I got them in a UVB bed for a few sessions and then into a UVA bed, they started tanning much better. Also, switch up your tanning lotion. When it comes to Moisterizers, I recommend Hempz. If your skin is dry, and flaky. You need to moisturize more. I recommend Hempz. It's a little more oily, but you'r skin absorbs it quickly. You need to me using more oily based moisturizers. Don't exfoliate your skin everyday, cut down to about twice a week. Also, stay away from bar soap, and harsh soapes like that. Use body wash that moisturizes. |
