Not only that, but with Devoted I get a steeper discount AND kick-backs at the end of the year! As for advertising, paper is a dying way to promote. My main demo is 16 to 26, that makes up about 70% of my customer base. Guess what, they dont pick up paper. They use this thing called the internet. So the co-op crap does nothing for me. I will stick with what has proven the better path, to avoid the new "Microsoft" of the tanning industry.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: ETS---THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD I saw this on one of the Online Lotion Sales websites today....I think ETS is taking steps in the right direction to help salon owner.... Note: Due to ETS wanting their brands sold in salons only, we will no longer be offering these products to avoid the risk of being sued. The following brands will be removed from the site: Australian Gold, Swedish Beauty, Designer Skin, Matahari, Emerald Bay and Caribbean Gold. There is still a good variety of other Premium Tanning Lotions available on site for purchase. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: ETS---THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD I have been wondering, Why do they want to track what salons buy? The cost of payroll, paper trail & paperwork is pretty good I would think. Why do manufactors undertake that expense? We all realize the only thing that sales products is aresonable price for thier product. ETS started rebates, they have to make money off the rebates nothing is free... Back prior to franchising & there was 1 salon on a block who statarted it all & stayed with it, today 2 or 3 francises along with it. |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: ETS---THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD stop making salons jump through hoops to get money back and kickbacks etc...just give me the **** discount now and it's that simple. not for resale packettes are good for promotional weekend events. But if they say buy 6 bottles and get 16packettes free, it should be resale lotions. It's basically an incentive to purchase that many bottles as the lotion pkt sales will recoup the bottle purchases and make you that extra money. It's not an added value for the bottle. Otherwise, they'd attach it to the **** bottle like other companies like Fiji did. Moisturizer attached to bottle purchase. Not for resale pkts are good when you ask for samples to try new lotions, they can send you those. When you have promo weekends and you want to give out free lotions, they can send you those. Other than that...they are useless.

Re: ETS---THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD I do have to say I like Four Seasons. Regarding lotions, you should try some other manufacturers; Devoted Creations and Supre are not owned by ETS and Company, provide great products and selection. You also offer your customers a great alternative. | |
