How would you handle this? - tanTALK

I have had a couple of situations where a customer preorders DS Black from me, which I only charge $75.00 for, due to the area I'm in, and they find it for $50.00 at another salon several miles away. I handle the "Ebay and internet buys" by explaining the risks involved, but it really puts me on the spot when I have to explain why I'm $25.00 higher on a bottle sold in another salon......any ideas?

Call the salon they said had it for that price, if it is true, just price match them. No biggie.

Funny coming from you Sunshak, but when you can sell it for 99.00 or even 75.00 and make good money, why ruin it for everyone and cut throats? I think I'll take Navigatin's advise, even tho I'd like to be able to continue providing good quality products" without "giving it away"! I sell Worship for $50! This is a much better product than Worship!

Defeat - not this gal! Competition? I'm in Hixson - you are in Brainerd. We can both make good money and keep our business profitable without having to compete! My thing is why make only $20 when you can make $50? It's the best stuff out there right now and people will buy it!

Give them a free tan (base bed) with the purchase of the bottle from you.

I would match the competition, and keep a happy tanner. You dont have to sell it for that price to everyone, just her.
