Hello everyone, I am getting very close to the opening of my salon (beds coming tomorrow-yeah) and would like to hear your opinions on good lotion choices for my begining inventory. I would like to carry lower priced up to a moderate priced lotion. I am pretty sure I am going to go with DC for my upper end lotions but not sure whats good choices for lower and mid priced. Also, in the DC which brands seem to sell better? I have been reading the boards and notice DC and Fiji brand seem to be a good choice. What others? Also, what is a good lotion to carry for men?

How many bottles versus packets should I start with?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks for reading my post. I am still new to the tanning industry and still learning. BTW, thanks to everyone who posts on the board- I have learned alot of valuable info reading the forum.

I carry AG for my mid line. I carried Fiji when I opened my new salon 4 years ago, and was not impressed at all with their bronzers. I think AG has some of the most natural looking bronzers. And the Fiji had a strong after odor if it contained bronzers. Sex Magnet by Ag is new this year, and it flies off the shelf. Carribean Gold is a good low priced line. Sex Pot has been my number one seller for four years. And Splash makes some really nice low priced lotions. Hustle smells like a mens cologne. Good luck!

I love Fiji and DC.

I would say whatever you go with do 2 bottles and 4 packettes of each.
