Rebate minimums getting higher? - tanTALK

I love Supre lotions. The moisturizers and the whole Hempz line. Well, I went to get my rebate and I have to have a minimum of $300 worth of rebates before I can redeem them. I only have $176 or so. I'm a small salon and now I'm getting shut out of the rebates. Once again money in the big guys pockets. They have 50 stores to buy for. I have 1. I have been faithful to this company since I bought my salon 6 years ago. Now what?

I am totally feeling that way. I felt like I was their biggest cheerleader, just because I don't have 50 stores, now I can't play.
If they give $.25 per bottle (on average) that would be 1200 bottles of lotion that I had to sell in their small window. That's not fair.

The people are chumps and that's too bad. They do have some slightly decent products but oh well.

I think Scott is a great guy. He's one of the reasons I've been loyal to Supre. But now I'm feeling a little s c r e w e d.

yeah they are all doing that .. it happened to me with DS..if you use more than 1 dissy you are screwed... you have to order a min of $50 with each one or something... Next time I will read the fine print..

This is true....I did get my rebate from one disty, but the other one I was 8 bucks short of qualifying! They used to let you combine invoices from different distys. It sucks.

Actually, the rebate accrual from each distributor must total more than $50 to qualify.

Yes, Scott is a great guy. But Supre decided to take their products into Beauty Supply, which imho, suxz

Yes, the beauty supply thing does suck. But I still sold enough to carry it. But now I can't even get a rebate. Once again, the little guy is screwed.
