Thank you very much for all your input. I agree with Neon Beach when he said " I don't think Supre could make a lotion that costs $ 100.00 a case " and also Parrot Head, those were some kick butt specials you had, plus 2 weeks free tanning and not ONE sale, even when you reduced the price too?,I think you said close to $35.00 and still not one sale.

I am very relieved to know that it's not just me about this lotion. I never use those stickers when I tan , but I had used them when I was using the Tansium bronze and after 3 sessions, you still could barely see the image of the sticker, but the rest of me got good color because I had used the Tansium on my abs obly, the rest of me got Priceless :)

Since I am a manufacturer of my own lines and specializing in private label. There is nothing you could put in a bottle of lotion to make it retail for a 100 bucks.
The reason why Lancome and Chanel is so expensive is the price of their marketing campaign convincing the public it's worth it for their creams. That's where the money is spent.
Are there ingredients that make a product's raw cost more than others. Of course there are. The basic quality of ingredients will increase the cost but not the the extent of 100 bucks.
Look at the price of solution you guys use to pay 200 bucks for a gallon now you can buy it for under 40 Same stuff less profit and hype.

I see what everyone is saying and I agree alot of it is the name or "brand" your paying for.....But as a tanning lotion user I know I see a big difference in the lotions from the way they make my skin feel to the tanning result so there has to be a difference in the lotions easy as that and it just so happens I find I like the mid range between 40-60 the best most of the cheapier are okay but you get what you pay for and the more exspensive don't usually impress me over the mid range enough to buy.......
Besides I was just messing with NEON:)~

PL is a great way to go but so far the only reason listed is the cost not so much the result?
Big Fan of Red Lime as they are a local company to me!!!! Just haven't gotten around to PL or wanted to put out the dough.....

Free is too much? What "dough" are you talking? I think I've gone through 500 samples and 100 bottles so far and not even spent a grand yet.

Still now answer to the question is it that PL are more cost efficient or is it that they are as good as all other products or both? I was trying to see what Neon would use for those of us who haven't pirvate lined and for those who can not as Neon is critical and if he gave a lotion his stamp of approval then I would have to imagine it would be the best.....But he is true to PL and hasn't let the cat out of the bag on what he would use if he didn't PL
although I think he said FIJI once a mystic moon ago!

Both. Depends. In terms of 10-30 dollar lotions, PL is the ONLY choice. Yeah, the bottles are designed by YOU and limited but compared to what? A lotion that's costing YOU $30 WHOLESALE and filled with INFERIOR product? That's a joke!

At this point in time if I wasn't doing a PL I'd stick with intro AG products that people are familiar with. Only bronzer free (or DHA free).

they suck just as bad as everything else but retail nice and cheap.

Your point is very well made and its a great arguement for PL which is all I was asking for Bravo you seem very educate on why and thats GREAT..... I was asking just so everyone could see the pro and cons of using big brands and PL.....
I think we often get caught up in name calling brands names and being so critical that we forget to put up legitimate reasons. We reduce our arguements to triffle names like "poop water" and "Goop" or whatever names we have all tokened a line to be which most of us have done...... I was trying to get the reasons behind the reasoning for each person on why they are a devoted fan of one way or another for filling the shelves with bottles.....
