Safe to use tingle?

Hellooo,

I haven't been tanning in a while...being a broke college student and all...I had started using Cosmo Tini by fiesta sun (it has tingle) but didn't really care for it. I don't mind the tingle but it was just a bad lotion. So here's my question. I just bought some JA Titanium and wanted to get some opinions on how intense it is before I try it. I WAS going about 3 times a week with a tingle lotion and seemed to hit a plateau. I've lost a bit of my color since I last tanned, so I'm slightly apprehensive about going right back to tingle.

Probably should have asked before I bought the darn stuff, eh?

Re: Safe to use tingle?

Oh and by "a while", I only mean 3 weeks to a month...ish.

Re: Safe to use tingle?

The effect of tingle lotions (the way they feel) is not so much as how tan you are, but how much you have used them. If you used a mild to moderate tingle and liked it, then you may want to try a strong tingle like the platinum. Try some on your legs and see what you think.

Also, since you took a month off, back off on your session time by about 25% for a couple of sessions and tan every other day.

Re: Safe to use tingle?

Ah, tingle lotions and coeds - two of my favorite subjects! JA Titanium is one of the hottest out there, IMO, and you should do a little test with it in a small (I mean like the total area of a fifty cent piece) on the underside of your arm or the inner thigh (you can try this without being in the bed). The skin on those areas of the body is similar in sensitivity to the, well, everything from the chin to your inner thigh. If you can handle the test, then you might try it in a larger area on your stomach and inner thighs. If it hurts, don't use it, try to exchange it for something a little milder. If it's "OK", go for it, but remember to tan responsibly and follow the exposure schedule recommendations of the professionals at the salon. Hope this helps. Good luck. -Belvy
