This additional blood flow helps to accellerate the tanning process over and beyond what would be achieved normally. Different products have different things to cause "the tingle" and varying levels of intensity, so I suggest asking your salon for a mild to medium tingle product to try out first and decide if your skin can handle it. I always recommend tingle products to tanners at every level of their tan. Hope this helps!Good luck. -Belvy

Ever since then, I have recommended tingle products to every customer. It can be tricky finding the right level for the customer based on their skin sensitivity, but their tanning results are noticebly better with tingle products versus non-tingle. ;)

Smolder 3. Mojo Dark Tanning Sauce 4. Shrine 5. Firewalker 6. Back down to Shrine. And now after going in that order (each level gets hotter) i can BARELY feel like the tingle or burning sensation anymore. (accustomed with HOT tingles, like shrine) And if you do use tingles, make sure you dont rub your eyes, like i just did. OWWWW my eye is burning!! OWWW! NO for real, OWW, |

Rep Power: 68 | Re: When to use tingle You raise a good point. The skin can develop a tolerance to a specific tingle component if used often and for a long enough period of time to where you don't "feel" the tingle effect, but you notice the redness due to the increased blood flow. The dermis is an adaptive organ and will adjust to the environment if it has time and ability to respond. And don't touch your eyes or other mucous glands until you have washed your hands. Thanks for bringing that up MM. Hope this helps. Good luck. -Belvy :glasses:
