NO. Listen up. Your skin NEEDS oil to maintain it's pH. If your face is over oily and you wash it, it's stripping it down to EMPTY and your face goes into PANIC MODE over producing oil like crazy to rebalance the skin.

Think of it like a car engine or bike chain. The oil not only is used to lube them up but also act as a filter for dirt and other crap. If you wash the oil completely from these things they will break down in a matter of 2 seconds. So you rince them off with CLEAN oil, the clean oil takes the place of the dirty oil and nothing is compromised.

Same thing with your face. It's pores are constantly breatheing and the oil is capturing the dirt and grime you'll break out. If you wash it completely and strip the oil, you'll get a temporarty relief UNTIL the face starts working overtime to flod the area with new oil. All that flooding is going to act as a super filter and trap all the fun air poliution in your pores, makeing life worse. Now think of doing this 3 times a day and your face is now working at 20000% producing oil cause of the constant attack of drying agent.

IF you use an oil rub that is already pH balanced, you will not send your face into panic mode and it will NOT start producing any additional oil cause you never unbalanced the pH in the skin BUT you did replace the dirty oil with clean oil.

I would have never believed it myself if it didn't work so good. NEVER break out anymore. NEVER.

Makes pretty good sense if you think about it.

Not everyone is mean. Posting a lotion site takes sales away from salons/dist. We are all trying to defeat diversion and posting a lotion site is going against all that. It won't make you any friends here. :)

[quote=hdeperte]Im thinking about purchasing this lotion also, but i am still a little concerned on whether it will work or not. My acne is nothing major, but its still something noticeable enough to complain about. It seems as if everyone likes the product, so maybe ill check it out.

We couldn't past the metallic smell of this product, and find that JA facial oil is much better.

As far as Internet products, print off the page where you saw the price and the shipping and take it to your Professional Salon and they should be able to match the price, and at least they can guarantee you are getting bonafide lotions.

I wouldn't match that! I would have made like nothing. I am not in the business of making nothing!I might come to what the cost would be with shipping but no I can garuntee my products aunthenticity.

If you do decide to take the above advice of Sherin, please don't whip that copy out in fount of everyone and put the owner or manager in an uncomfortable position and allow her/him to be able to keep her lotion sales with her customers that may be standing around.

Don't get me wrong...I'm 100% completely against diversion! However, we do address it with customer who come in and ask, which by the way seems to be more and more lately especially with DS. That being said, I would rather get a small pice of the pie than no piece. I've already seen 2 bottles of spellbound come in, purchased of the net, and when I ask, they comment on how they love it. I can only control the things I can controll, and since the lotion mfgrs choose to do nothing of importance and IMHO actuall encourage internet sales as a way to dispurse discontinued and/or dog sellers, it hurts us all!
