Rep Power: 0 | I think most of the GWP available with the products we carry are a waste. I have had so many clients purchase the lotion and then give the GWP back to us. I think if it is an aftertan moisturizer or something they want to try and possibly purchase if they like the trial packette that is great. As far as the ponytail holders, bracelets, etc...not worth increasing the price for. I agree getting away from the plain brown packaging is a plus. Thanks for sharing:) |

Rep Power: 0 | Sherin is right on the money with her suggestion as I too, often wondered why Lotion & Tanning equipment Manufacturers don't advertise in Natioal Magazines like Glamour, Redbook, or other Beauty magazines so the general public could become familiar with their products and bring more business to the salons The typical consumer does not read Tanning trend or other trade magazines to learn more about lotions. |

Rep Power: 68 | It's because it costs too much, and Suzy Q Tanner doesn't buy tanning beds with aroma therapy, clogged mister nozzles, and DVD players. The lotion mfrs, simple. Why blow profit on advertising when it's not necessary. I know, I know, it's ok, the truth hurts. Let it out. That's it. |

Rep Power: 24 | Can you explain why it's not necessary? The majority of tanning products I have seen in magazines like Maxim, Jane, Cosmo, etc. are for Sunless products... Why should the Salon Owner bear the responsibility of the marketing of these products, especially now when they are so readily available on the open market...I think it is condescending to our customers to tell them they can only buy from us when they obviously see other avenues! Rather than receive free product as rebate that quickly ends up getting dumped, putting those rebate dollars into an advertising campaign would change the course of this industry! Wouldn't you start carrying a product if your customers were coming in and asking for it? |
