Problem lotion...Streaking - tanTALK

We have had problems with SunTea streaking our clients. This is the only lotion that gives us this many problems. It's to the point that we are gonna discontinue stocking it. We have other bronzing lotions that have not had any problems. I personally like this lotion but we are getting to many unhappy clients. Has anyone else had these sorts of problems?

Never with Sun Tea but with Electra I had a problem.

I don't recommend either product unless the person is naturally darker skin or has a base tan.

Tanology you are right on there, I am EXTREMELY dark and have never had problems with bronzers, nor does my femail employee who is really dark, and none of my dark customers either, they have always been "new" tanners that are pale that have these problems.

The client that was using it has a real good base. She has a light complexion naturally.

The one thing that bugs me is that the instructions don't advise washing your hands after application.

I don't have a clue what Sun Tea is, but I can guess it's a major bronzer, and hence the problem. Anything that claims to be a double, triple bronzer, XXX bronzer needs careful application. Have them apply it in a continuous circler motion rather than up and down or back and forth. This will hopefully apply it equally. Don't foret to give them some Wet Wipes to clean up the palms of their hands!! Such a heavy bronzer is idiotic to me personally.

It's the Fiji SunTea.

I actually demostrated with moisturizer on how to rub it in. Oh well.

Almost all of Figi's bronzers are very heavy...this sometimes tends to be a problem.

The funny thing is that I have not had any problems with their newer stuff like Velvet Nights, Oracle, and Possess. Actually I did have someone streak with FireWalker.
