Rep Power: 0 | ive noticed that after sun , or daily moisturizers now have DHA in them to give a person a " sun kissed glow " as if they were in the sun. one example is the " jergens " TV commercial, its a moisturizer with a hint of sunless ingredient ( DHA ) to make a person look like they have a tan, but its a subtle tan, and to get darker you need to apply more often ( daily ) . can anyone recommend an after sun moisturizer that has DHA in it to help deepen and darken my existing tan ( from the sun and from the tanning beds ) ? i dont want to use " jergens ", id feel better knowing that the product is made by a brand that has a good reputation for indoor or sunless tanning. ive noticed that " coppertone " has a moisturizer called " endless summer " to give you a " gradual tan " that you can control by how often you apply it. again " coppertone " is a big name ( the original tanning lotion / oil ) but again i think that the products made for indoor tanning would have better ingredients for great moisturizing and have better quality DHA so the DHA kicks in, i would think THAT color would be more natural looking. i hope im making some kind of sense.......???????? so basically im looking for a great moisturizer with a hint of DHA to help deepen and darken my existing tan, but it has to have great moisturizers ( aloe, vitamins A,C,E, glycerin. all these ingredients are basically in most moisturizers because they are great humectants . ) and i think ive heard that DHA can be drying to the skin so the moisturizer would have to have great moisturizing ingredients. any thoughts, suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanx and have a great summer everyone ricky |

Rep Power: 0 | On a different thread somebody mentions making up their own "shots" or "mixes"... so if you follow that advice, go ahead and get a cheap lotion (with no mineral oil or Vasoline) and add some spray tan DHA and make up your own. I'm sure you can figure out the proper mix... and if not, let me be the first to call you Mr. Pumpkin. Remember that DHA actually dries the skin. The other ingredients counteract that.... everybody has the ability to grab cheap lotions and put together whatever they want to make up any product they want, and if sold as a cosmetic can make any claim they want.... there's not a thing in this world to stop you. Except one tiny small point. Unless you are testing for sensitivity, for allergic reactions, for reactions within the ingredients, etc.... I woulnd't take a chance with my skin. |

Rep Power: 0 | i have actually used the "jergens" myself because i had alot of clients asking whats in it and how does it work? So i tried it and I would recommend it becuase it works but I wouldnt promote it becuase it doesnt make me money. I have used worship without tanning and because it has DHA in it it will color your skin without the UV but obviously the reaction of the lotion with the UV works towards a better result. I like the idea about adding DHA to a lotion. Its the same concept of adding tanning fuel to make lotion hot. Find a lotion that you really like and add DHA to it you probably have something even better then 'Jergens" |

Rep Power: 20 | By far the best out there for me is Ultra Tan's Private Label Hemp Moisturizer -smells awesome, very moistuizing and has the hint of colour-I sell it to my airbrush clients as well and it extends their tan. |
