Pyro? Good or bad? - tanTALK

My sister in law loves it. Is it any good? And any reviews on Tao by DS.

I olny used pyro 1 time and it made me feel sick when I was done tanning I had the chills it sucked so I been scared to try it again. Tao is wonderful I think it gives you great color and it don't have a bad smell to it. The guys love it also.

We sell sell alot of Toa, as for Pyro it is **** of hot , we stopped carrying it because when someone tanned in a bed the nexted 3 client's also tingled !!

Pyro is a very hot lotion, but I didn't really see any results. And it's so drying that it took a week to get my skin back to normal condition after using it. I haven't used Tao, but I've been pretty impressed with most of the DS lotions I have used.

I used Pyro last winter, when it was -20 celsius. Gave me heated seats on the way home! I got great colour from it, but the heat lasts way too long. It could never be a great seller in hot humid weather! Yikes! I'd tan at 9:00am, and with the weather so cold, I'd finish my day at about 8 or 9pm with a nice warm bath before snuggling into bed to watch TV. I have a 6 year old who never lets me have a bath alone. She'd hop in the tub with me, and sit in front of me between my thighs. Where my legs would touch the ouside of her hips she'd almost immediately glow fiercely red. From my Pyro in the morning, nearly 12 hours earlier!! Holy CRAP!!

It does dry your skin out terribly, so you have to moisturize like a fiend, too. My final say on it? Cold winter only, and in moderation.
