just wondering what's a good tanning lotion for acne-prone skin... I don't like not having any lotion on my face but I break out like crazy when I put my regular lotion on my face...

Tanology Serum 4F is awesome. I too have acne prone skin and I have never broken out from it. It is pretty exclusive and hard to find, also try Amazing face and Saving face from DS.

I always use an SPF on my face, if you're using a special facial cleanser (or other products, like Proactiv Solution) ment to rid your skin of acne, then typicially that product will make your skin sensative to sunlight. If your skin is sunlight sensative, and you tan indoors or out, typicially your skin will break out because it's sensative to sunlight. I use a SPF 4 on my face when tanning indoors and SPF 15 when tanning outdoors. I'll use a self-tanner on my face to make up the difference in color so it matches my body.

Someone in the "Designer Skin Bestsellers" thread said they used DS Amazing Face and they hadn't had one breakout.

yeah, I've tried that too... sometimes I'll just put a towel over my face for like half the time and then use ST later... I don't use Proactiv, but at night I do use a different kind of benzoyl peroxide cream... Also I'm on the birth control pill so I suppose that makes me more sensitive as well... but I never have burned in a tanning bed... only in the real sun...

Amazing Face made me break out a little (not as much as some other lotions). I would suggest Saving Face (DS) instead. I've never had a problem with that one.

Devoted Creations Sacred has been working awesome for me & nearly all facial accelerators break me out.Saving Face is just as good,like others suggested.Amazing Face gave me a bit of trouble,too.Maybe the dha in it?

On here I was advised to use Amazing Face my DS. I was using a tingle on my face and using proactiv twice a day but I still had break outs.. So I switched to AF and stoped using a tingle on my face (bad idea to begin with) and my skin is totally clear.. I just use proactiv once a day or every other day so my skin stays clear but not to much so it wont be to senestive..

Im really happy with amazing face though!
