What is a good spf? I need to be dark.

California Tan SPF. They have spray oils and lotions and SPF that ranges from 0-30. I personally use the SPF 8 so I get the protection but still get a nice dark tan.

are you using a spf in the tanning bed or outside?? if youre using one in a bed it wont do you any good to lay there

I suggest starting with an SPF 15 or higher and see how you do. If you are using a tanning lotion, apply it first, and then layer the SPF over the lotion. With 15, you should still get great results. If your tan is advanced, you may be able to use an 8. But, if you don't have a base tan, start high.
