I use it in the sun. But, the most responsible thing to do would be to layer it with an SPF. It is a great product inside or out and it is water-based so it isn't greasy like other oils.

Water based? Doesn't include water in the ingredient list. You sure about this?

I don't have a bottle handy right now, but does it have "Aloe" listed? Aloe is basicly water
Below is a few ingrediants listed on the web

"An ultra-fine, sensual oil that melts into your skin, giving intense and deep tanning results. Lightly scented with naturally soothing lavender, it contains vitamins and a passion flower, golden palm and sesame oil base that leaves the skin silky soft and radiant - with no oily residue"

As for using outside, I do but I suggest you have a very deep tan and still use some SPF. JA has some great SPF oils and lotions with an SPF 4-30

No Aloe except the facial oil and that's not what we are speaking of ALTHOUGH she might be talking about their outdoor oil??
