I am currently providing lotion samples for free. Should I be charging if I put the samples in one of those plastic cups? How much does everyone charge?
Thanks

I was gunna help ya then I noticed the UV bashing you base your business on. Good luck with that one cause when the S hits the fan about the BS DANGERS of UV and the REAL DANGERS of Spray Tanning, I'll be the first....not to bash it cause that's not how WE do. To answer your question, YES, conmtinue to GIVE IT ALL AWAY.

TMMACAV2 01-03-2005 11:08 AM

engfant, Do you feel better that you got all of that of your chest???

engfant 01-03-2005 11:09 AM

I just kick *** and it feels good.

ramcat 01-03-2005 11:27 AM

Engfant, when are you goint to stop being so negative? If you do not like UV Free, then refrain from commenting on those threads. If someone says something about UV that you disagree with, by all means, say what is on you mind, but don't bash the UV free. It puts you on the same level...

Excuse me SPIT TANNERS, here's the "mission statement" from the 1st page of Mr HealthyGlo's website:
----------------
Finally, there's a safe way to achieve that healthy summer glow with the revolutionary Mist-On Tanning process available at Healthy Glo. The experience is much like standing in shower booth that gently mists you with a hypoallergenic tanning solution - moisturizers and bronzer combined with a vegetable-based product (DHA) that activates your body's natural tanning response. Each misting is followed by a jet of air to dry the application for a natural-looking, completely even tan without the harmful effects of UV rays or the mess and discoloration of sunless tanning products. Now, for the first time, people with fair and/or sensitive skin can achieve that Healthy Glo.

Healthy Glo tanning salons feature Tom Laughlin Ph.D.'s patented Mist-On Tanning process as well as an array of exclusive, all-natural, professional-grade products to enhance your before and after tanning quality and experience.
------------
Now Ramcat, please EXPLAIN to me where I EVER badmouthed ANYTHING. This ad is A DIRECT ATTACK AT ONE PART OF AN INDUSTRY TO BENEFIT ANOTHER PART.

I ONLY point out the ovbious. If you use scare tactics to make money then you are NOT playing fair and it'll catch up to you when the "tides change"

HOW FOR THE LOVE OF GOD can you PROMOTE SAFE TANNING when IN ORDER to be complient, you need to PROVIDE nose plugs, mouth guard, eye protection (where's the ear protection????). Sounds safe to me (until I lose my hearing from over spray!)

ramcat 01-03-2005 12:02 PM

Come on, dude. We've had this conversation before. You bash the UV Free because they (in your opinion) bash UV. It's written in magazines and medical journals all the time. The benefits and hazards of both are out there for anyone to see and read.

If Healthyglo wants to post his opinion or post the opinion of others, that is his right. Just as it is your right to post the positives of UV.

It is called ADVERTISING.....Best answer is to DEAL WITH IT....

tanu01 01-03-2005 12:02 PM

Good points.

I think the bigger question here is why is someone who thinks UV tanning is harmfull to his clients asking those of us who make our living providing this service, for information?
