Rep Power: 22 | You educate them on the difference in the ingredients of your products versus what is sold on the market. Education is the biggest seller of anything you carry in your salon. YOu have to tell people why they need it, not why they should have it or buy...its a need factor that goes with the tanning factor. More money better tan. Just like buying shoes or clothing, why will people spend more on a LV than on a wally mart bag...NAME and product recognition. They have been told about the quality of the product and how much longer it will last. Same thing with salon sold products, better tan, last longer.... |

Rep Power: 28 | I just educate them that it is an investment in their skin as well as their tan. It is also important to sample some out to them to try and see the difference. I have a large bottle of Mystic Maintainer that I let them use "mine" once and they 9 out of 10 will buy a bottle after they have been sprayed. I am now doing it with Hyper Tan from Mystic as well... samples are the key. We also do it with lotions, I give them samples from DS and give it to them to try once "like it is a big deal" they were free! Most will buy a bottle or even better yet buy a packette everythime they tan. Just my .02. |

Rep Power: 0 | Women use products that do not make them zit out as well as make their skin dry. It takes them years to figure out what works best for them. Now you tell me that education sells???? I think trial and error works and once they have found it they do not want to change. In the idea of DHA tans this added ingrediant to a womens skin can wreak havoc.. They would have to be dedicated to DHA to try this new trial and error process with their skin... |
