Rep Power: 29 | I think it's time to KEEP IT REAL UP IN HERE. This post is MOSTLY for direct marketers (sans JA unless they get phone happy) who believe that repetative cold calling is STILL a legit way of doing business. Also included in this are the companies that call with the DEAL OF A LIFETIME and they are ready to deliver it for a mear $1500 investment. Listen, we are REALLY getting HAMMERED by you people, even the ones that some of us do a GOOD AMOUNT OF BUSINESS WITH, with the calling and constant nagging and with the OLD *** call lists looking for previous owners from YEARS past. IT'S FRIKKIN IRRITATING. I even do a good amount of business (BREEZE) and I STILL get hammered. You people KNOW how many beds we have. If we bought 24 bottles of whatever EVERYTIME YOU CALLED....I mean, WHAT THE K-RIST ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ALL THIS TANNING LOTION? What the **** are we SUPPOSED to be doing with ALL THIS TANNING LOTION? I have a TON of tanning lotion and TRY to use a lot of lotion when I tan BUT I use the "GOOD STUFF" meaning lamps and lotion. I only have to tan 3 times a week. The lotion lasts A LONG TIME and I let everyone pinch my stash. If you CANNOT operate your tanning lotion company based on REALISTIC NUMBERS then you are GUNNA LOSE. ANYONE that continues to call will IMMEDIATELY be OFF MY 2005 list. That's it. I KNOW your frikkin number. It's 37 of the 50 calls listed on my ID!!! I ALSO have this STRANGE way of knowing when my inventory is GETTING LOW better then the lotion peddlers. When one of my 30 LINES starts to get near the DANGER ZONE, I'll give ya a call. NOW, for the CLOWNS that can't seem to get their CRAP out of the HAIR DISCOUNT and blatent diversion sites, you GOTS TA GO TOO. YOUR PRODUCT IS ALREADY AVAILABLE ON eBay??? You HAVE TO KNOW WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE! NO ONE even has this product yet. Pathetic. Anyone that supports this NONSENSE has NO REASON TO COMPLAIN EVER. Not that ANYONE is looking for TOTAL ELIMINATION of the product on the internet. That's IMPOSSIBLE. BUT, if you expect someone to buy a $90 bottle of lotion when it can be gotten for $50 (example) you CRAZY. Everyone has a choise to carry something that's not so available in discount. Some of this stuff is just crazy ESPECIALLY when SCUM have the NERVE to rub it IN YO FACE when they flash a $22 price tag on something you are DISCOUNTING for $30. As a salon owner, if you stop supporting the bottlers I speak of you'll see things change REAL fast. It'll never happen now that EVERYONE is depending on that "REBATE" at the end of the year. Rebate SHOULD NOT AND NEVER be a major factor in any business plan. If it is, then who are you REALLY supporting? |

Rep Power: 24 | If we really stop and think about it, these manufacturers are pi$$ing on our leg and telling us it's raining. Supposedly, there are 37,000 of us who keep the four big lotion companies afloat. If we're not turning tons of lotion around each year, what happens to the lotion they made that didn't sell? We can accuse distributors of the diversion all we want to but, I believe the guilty parties are the big four. Rep Power: 29 | Tanu, If a company charges $5 for a tanning lotion and gives you back $1, how is this different than just selling the lotion for $4? It just seems like I'm working for my own commission WITH MY MONEY. If they were putting the $$$ in an account that earned a couple % THEN we are talking realistic. You REALLY think Louis Vitton could get $4000 for a frikkin purse if EVERY corner store had them hanging in the window? Don't create a product geared at a SPECIFIC clientelle and then DEVALUE it. So if Ferrari started pumping out 500K ferraris a year, think they'd still be worth $100K+? BornAgainDorsey, I don't need your help thank you. Your adjenda is NOT the same as mine or EVEN tanu's. TRICKING a new business owner into throwing their limited budgets away on shoddy, untested products is MUCH different than selling at RETAIL. You are just a screen name. |

Rep Power: 29 | It's kinda sad that as soon as I posted this SUTR goes under. Probably the ONLY bottler that this was NOT directed to. Funny, my home e-mail gets 5000spam/day and not 1 real e-mail. Maybe the low lives are winning? |
