Rep Power: 21 | I am sure you all know what I am talking about. When you are trying to sell a moisturizer , like Hempz, and the customer says, that's expensive I can buy a bottle of lotion at Wal-Mart for a lot cheaper. How do you make them understand that all lotions aren't the same? That we have the best ones in the salon. |

Rep Power: 0 | I have a bottle on my counter that customers can try. Most of the time they like it so much they buy a bottle right then and there. Plus I tell them how great the product is and how it can benefit their tan as opposed to a cheap brand of lotion. |

Rep Power: 0 | Indoor tanning Moisturizers are complected totally different than "store bought" Moisturizers. Well, not totally, but much differently. Most Moisturizers like SB Cal Tan Total Immersion etc....have Tan extending systems also, ie: Vitatan....this should be used as your daily moisturizer helping to maintain your tan you have achieved....I haven't found a lotion in a store that can do this....that's what sets them apart. |

Rep Power: 23 | Here's my speel: "Indoor tanning lotions are specifically formulated for indoor tanning. The molecules are smaller, unlike over the counter lotions or oils. Lotions than contain specific oils, actually have larger molecules than cannot penetrate the skin as well. Also, some over the counter lotions contain exfolliants and skin bleaching ingredients that actually work against the tanning process". |

Rep Power: 24 | Most of my customers' eyes would glaze over if I started talking about molecules to them. Giving them a sample usually works much better for me. P.S. Don't forget about the SPF molecules in the "Over the counter stuff" |

Rep Power: 0 | We educate our customers on mineral oil & petroleum. That 98% of all products contain mineral oil. Mineral oil will strip their tan. Mineral damages our beds. If it damages the beds what does it do to your skin? Mineral can't be absorbed into the skin,it sits on the top and clogs your pores. Tell them to go home and put a cracker in baby oil (baby oil is pure mineral oil) the cracker doesn't get soggy. We also carry Arbonne International products, which are one of the best skin products. They are made without chemicals and use natural oils. |
