Rep Power: 23 | One thing I love about this time of the year are the new products that are introduced into the industry. What can we expect for new products? What is going to be hitting the market? What do you think is going to be hot in the 2005 season... bronzers/tingle/acceleraators/combos/etc? What new funky names are going to be used? Who do you think is going to come out on top this year and who needs to step it up a notch? Or who will just not be able to compete?? |

Rep Power: 24 | Well I think that Designer Skin will get bigger than ever as they have already exceeded CalTans sales this year (as I am told) and CT will have to try to get back it's market share.. Bronzers are here to stay. Sunless Tanning Services.....most salons will be doing it as it gets more affordable to us owners.( we might see the FDA step in here now that it's getting so popular) Packaging will play a big role. Fiji will take a bigger piece of the pie.. Private Labeling will be bigger as we strive to carry products that are not on the net. maybe new & differnt types of Salon incentives from the manufacturers. I think that more of the smaller distributors will get eaten up. |

Rep Power: 0 | designer skin has taken their market share this year but they have not exceeded MAX's Cal tan You've got to remember that cal tan is in resort's and spa's all over. JA is hanging on by a thread. Private label is the way to control your profits and competition (the internet). Solution is here to stay and the smaller players in sunless will shake out due to price wars. FDA will leave sunless alone if we leave the FDA alone. Dha has been in coppertone since the baby and the dog ads. |
