Rep Power: 0 | The best lotion I have found for fair skin clients is John Abate Spectrum. It does not have all the bells and whistles of other lotions - fancy bottle, fu-fu smell etc. - but what is inside the bottle works great. Like my staff said, "A ghost can tan with this stuff". pinkandrews |

Now im using "WORSHIP".. which i know is good cuz i sweat (i take the fans off and just have one on my face becase my pores open more if u perspire).. and I've actually gotten red on my stomach from it.. so its good now I'm used to it. but why cant i tan good anymore? should i stay in longer than 15mins? or try super beds? or standups? |

Rep Power: 0 | Tanning in someones house....have they changed their bulbs? I agree, go to a salon. What lotions have you used? How long to you lay? How new are the bulbs? Try taking a shower before hand, working out, even doing a few jumping jacks before you lay. I would check into those bulbs first and see if you are getting anything good from that. Or, just throw in the towel and go to a salon, get a professional to help you. Worship, is a bronzer, that is why you are getting color...turning the fans off with any lotion will make you sweat if the bed is hot, it's not the lotion persay making you sweat, most people think the hotter they get the more tan they are acquiring, which isn't always true, it's the amount of UV your getting. Try a tingle and an HP bed see if that helps. |

Rep Power: 0 | You can use a salon lotion outside, just limit your time in the sun and remember that most lotions from a salon do not have an SPF in them to protect you. Try one such as Halo by Designer Skin. It has a small SPF in it and can be used outdoors. What was the bad experience if you don't mind me asking..... |

Scout around and see if you can find one that is professional and they can help you with a lotion. I prefer DS to anything else because I see better results, but it's really up to you and how your skin tans. If you are careful, you can try one of the Hempz brands, those seem to get a lot of ppl really dark, but they do have a small selftanner in them, just be careful about applying it. I don't know a lot about lotions specifically designed for outdoor tanning since I work indoors, but if you are careful, I would use anything except a tingle outdoors, but only in moderation due to the SPF factor. |
