Rep Power: 24 | I don't sell a specific outdoor lotion, but if you check DS has a few that are indoor/outdoor lotions and I tend to push Secret Rapture as one that clients can use outdoors as it has no bronzers in it. |

Rep Power: 23 | A lot of indoor lotions these days do say suitable for outside on them as well, check your bottles. However we usually do carry SPF lotions in the summer months for tanners who are going away somewhere or just want to use them outside with a bit of protection. Many also like to keep with the same brand they use indoors. If you sell a customer an indoor brand with no SPF make sure that they realize that this lotion will not protect like an SPF does, some clients get a little confused over this for some reason.... Rep Power: 21 | Some clients will buy the indoor tanning lotion for outdoors. I do inform them that they do not contain SPF. Do you suggest applying the SPF lotion on first than the indoor tanning lotion on top of it? Or does it matter how they apply it? I know this is a stupid question. Any thoughts? |

Rep Power: 0 | regarding offering outdoor lotions with SPF: I think this is a great selling opportunity. We get a multitude of customers that come to tan JUST in order to prepare for a tropical vacation. Why not take advantage of this opportunity and offer them products for their vacation too? We are tanning professionals after all, why should we only limit ourselves to the indoors? As for SPF, when tanners are outdoors, they are not in a controlled (timed) environment, so you want them to use an SPF lotion to protect themselves. Without protection, even the hard core tanners will eventually burn after sitting in the hot sun for 3 hours. |

Rep Power: 21 | Australian Gold makes a great kit called Vacation Kit. It has 1 Cheeky Brown, 1 SPF 8,1 SPF Lip Balm, Scrunchie, 1 Tattoo, 1 Tan Extender, 1 SPF Face Guard. The coolest part of all is the bag that it comes in blows up to be a beach pillow. I have sold quite a few of those as a distributor to tanning salons. |
