OK, so any advice on lotions with bronzer--when applying these lotions, I find the bronzer is sometimes like Make-up and wipes off. Do you keep rubbing it in or are there better bronzer lotions than others? How do you "sell" the bronzer benefits to clients w/o the potential streaking or rubbing off mess? Very open ended question..any advice would be appreciated as I have always just flown by the seat of my pants!

Hmmmm personally I use lotions that contain bronzer and have been for a number of years and have never had a problem with the lotion wiping off or streaking. I tend to use the upper end in cost products and also our private label brand and swear by them. Although I personally tan 3-4 days a week (often times just to relax more than getting color) I would say that the lotions that I do use gives me excellent color (I am typically very fair) for a good 4-5 days. Also you don't need to apply a thick coat of tanning lotions in order to achieve what you are looking for. Also I don't shower before 4-5 hours after tanning and sometimes not even up to 12 hours after tanning in the beds.

I use bronzers and so do alot of my clients I've never seen their clothes stained yet. I also provide a clean towel for them in the rooms...Wipe off after you get out of the bed after tanning. I also have babywipes in the rooms and after placing the lotion on their bodies they take a baby wipe and clean any lotion on their hands off. Unless of course its a lotion like Sex Pot. You could probably bleach your arm and not get the stain off that garbage leaves behind.

just a note a obout bronzers, and tingles for that matter, i notice its very difficult to get the bronzers off the pillows in my tanning beds. I have thrown out more pillows than i dare to count. I find that besides using the standard sanatizer, i keep clorox bleach wipes on hand if you catch it right away more often then not u can get the stains out of the pillows. Also the clorox bleach wipes are great giving the bed a once over after using the sanatizer if the client just used a tingle. It can be very embarassing to explain to a client why they have a red spot on a part of their body that is burning , when they didnt use a tingle! Even one spot of tingle resedue could give ur salon a bad name . So i highly recommend keeping them on hand. ( if u have a costco near u they have their own brand which is cheaper and works great!)

Nativetan, did you get a sample of Sex Pot or did you just carry it w/out using it. I guess you did or how would you know it stanied? It's never stained my clothes or me. You called me out on not answering your question on another post when in fact I did. So please answer mine. What is your #1 selling bronzer. This is not a trick question. I'm sure this board would like to know since you are such an expert on this issue. You seem to have no problem slamming products that you feel are inferior yet you won't share with us the lotion lines you sell so salon owners that aren't as knowledgeable as you are can benefit from sells of them like you do. I just ask you 3 questions. Lets see if you can answer them. You have no problem attacking others on this board how does it feel to be put on the spot. It's posters like you that drive people away from this forum. You try and make everyone feel like they are under you. I hope you are happy with yourself Nativetan you are just another reason people don't come to these boards anymore. If you don't have anything constructive to say why say it @ all? So lets see what you are really made off.

1) Did you get a sample of Sex Pot?
2) Did you offer or sell Sex Pot?
3) What is your #1 selling Bronzer?
