tanning method - tanTALK

One of my friend suggested the tanning method as follows: for the first 5 days tan everyday, after that for 1 weeks tan other day, and after that 2 times a week. What do you guys suggest?

go every other day for 10 days (5 times) in a base bed, then go 2 times per week in a VHR Booth/Bed or medium sized bed.
