Rep Power: 23 | Mr. Chunn - your shame will follow you to the next life There are times in my life that I am amazed at what humans will DO for money.... for petty hatred .... for 'paybacks'.... I ask the Vendors that Banner on this site to review the facts surrounding the income generating Google Challenge Ads that Mike Chunn is now Allowing on the site that is geared towards the TANNERS ~ the CLIENTS of SALONS on the IamTan website. There was a time that the Moderators of that site were instructed to not discuss or provide information on DIVERSION WEB SITES and there was much hurt feelings amoung the membership over this topic..... Huge emotional battles fought about this topic... and now??? NOW according to you Mister Chunn... since the web surfer can find a tanning website with normal mouse activity.... you see no problems with providing them DIRECT links from ads that YOU get paid for.... (Leaving your Moderators Asses OUt in the mean cold wind of an unhappy public).... Diversion - of ANY product that the MFGs are working to keep protected is bad Mr. Chunn.....No Belly Rubs for you and no EXCUSES can be accepted for this behavior!!. You are proactivly supporting diversion even when you KNOW it HARMS the supporters of your Salon Owner based Website.... {sure - you don't get hurt by diversion.... Max is diverting it directly to you.... even diverters don't get the DEALS you do!} This is sick.... and it is BEYOND TWISTED. I can no longer support this site or you. Any salon owner here that wishes to see this stopped should contact EVERY BANNER ADVERTISER on this site to see if THEY TOO SUPPORT this new and improved formula Chunn has worked out behind the backs of the kiddies. http://tanformation.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=00311 0 |

The vendors on this site support TanTalk because of the number of Salon Owners that read tantalk - just like yourself Shelia. It a pure business decision. They advertise to draw people to their site and in return increase the chances they will sale more product. We added the google ads to see what and how they worked. The tanners at iamtan are responding to the ads. Yes I did notice that there are people selling lotion at below retail pricing. I find it hard to believe that people do not know that this is going on. Am I the first person to open the eyes of our tanners? NO! Online sales of all tanning products will continue and will only prosper. Anyone that found their way to iamtan .com can surely find their way to just about any site on the web courtesy of google and yahoo. Manufacturers of all industries are faced with the same environment. Not all people buy things off the internet but those that do will. My lotion sales have increased each year. Yes, I'm sure a percentage of my customers shop the web. I try to offer more than the product itself. I offer one on one person education about my products. The internet will have a harder time accomplishing that.

Rep Power: 24 | Mike: I have seen many business owners compromise their business ethics, but this has got to take the cake! Have you no sense of what is morally right and wrong? CalTan and many other firms have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to support salon owners in the fight against diversion, and for the sake of a few pieces of silver, you stick your middle finger up at every tanning salon owner. YOU MR.CHUNN by displaying these banners are not only hurting your fellow salon owners but helping this diverting firm interfere with contracts set up to protect salon owners! I hope ETS and CalTan nail you’re a$$ to the wall! I will be forwarding this to Max Recone, and to Bill Pipp, and writing letters to all TanTalk and Iamtan sponsors letting them know that my company will not support any firms that support people like you Chunn that try to undermine the integrity and viability of independent tanning salon owners! What’s next Chunn….Isellcrack.com? SHAME ON YOU! |

Rep Power: 0 | I was surprised to say the least to see these ads and felt a little betrayed. Not because I don't know that consumers can purchase lotins via the internet but because of all the "support your salon - help stop diversion" posts that are on here and iamtan on a daily basis. This feels like what Heartland Tan did, a stab in the back. |

If Bill Pipp owns stock in Wal-Mart and ETS sells a ton of their Australian Gold lotion in Wal-Mart then I should not own stock in Wal-Mart because that would be hurting myself ( a owner of 5 tanning salons )??
