Rep Power: 21 | Truthfully, as a salon owner I cant really say that any Swedish Beauty is that great...As a customer, if I walk into a salon and see Aust. Gold and Swedish Beauty products everywhere, I turn around and walk out laughing!! My distributor sent me packages to try of Dangerously Dark, and chocolate silk....needless to say, I was not impressed at all.. |

Rep Power: 21 | lol.....as a salon owner with quite a bit of experience, I invite you newbies to try a REAL product like.....ANYTHING BESIDES A.G., AND S.B......it makes me laugh that any salon owner would stand behind those lotions......its time to get with the times (unless you have a 2-3 bed salon- then its understandable that you carry the absolute WORST lotion lines on the market.....People know the names, BIG DEAL !!! As a salon owner, you are supposed to be able to sell your customer ANYTHING you want to...it is simple coersion. I'm not gonna sit here and have this lotion arguement.....A.G. and S.B. are a thing of the past, its time to step up to the plate.......get some REAL lotions, then your customers will forgrt ALL about the old stuff....Don't agree?? Thats okay....but I have used Browning fury, Iced creme, blazin, idol, cheeky brown, double dipped (lol...SOOO much DHA, you might as well go spray tanning )etc.....I have used dangerously dark, choc. silk, choc. temptation, sinful etc...Bottom line, none of them impressed me, nor sold as much as my current lines....Fiesta Sun/Designer Skin, and Synergy Tan.....I am only trying to help your lotion sales....When a person sees a bottle of Secret Rapture (D.S.), they are so dazzled by the bottle, and the smell- once they see the color, you might as well marry the two, because the customer will LOVE IT, and forget all about the A.G. or S.B. |

Rep Power: 0 | Dark Tanning Intensifier Formula* Explore Your Richest Dark Tanning Fantasy! Chocolate Silk is an Aloe-based lotion for superior moisturizing and healing abilities. It contains a premium blend of six powerful dark tanning and nourishing oils. Including silk Amino Acids to help control the moisture level of skin preventing dehydration. It is also unique as it contains Japanese Green Tea Extract helps fight free radicals that cause fine lines and wrinkles. Personally I love this lotion. It makes for a dark tan with out tingle(added bonus) and it looks like a bronzer when you are done, but it's all natural, makes for a one time tan experience turn into the look of about 5 sessions. The seller's line: *Dark Tanning Intensifier Formula The Swedish Beauty® browning ingredients are the power behind the darkest, richest, most luxurious tans. Experience the deepest, darkest tan possible, without an added bronzer or tingle ingredient. |

Rep Power: 0 | I love Chocolate Silk... No bronzers and No tingle - awesome results!! Ag and Sb are not lotions of the past --- so the manufacturer hasn't done much with the packaging, but have you looked at the ingredients?? If you are selling lotions based on shelf presence and smell....are you really educating you tanners on the importance of good skin care? _________________ [ This Message was edited by: smartypants on 2004-06-25 10:23 ] |

Rep Power: 29 | (from my experience) The people that "recognize" Swedish Beauty by name are USUALLY looking for their accelorating oil from a few years back... now a John Abate product. So infact some people are NOT looking for the SB of today but the SB from that past, now JA. This has happened on more than one instance. |
