I have a customer who has psoriasis and is tanning to improve that condition. I read something recently about a lotion that helps as well, but can not remember what it was. Anyone have any ideas on what would be helpful?

I have clients that are using the Green Tea and it seems to work well for them.

I have a lot of people suffering from this right now. More than any other year. They are using the "Black Tea" when tanning (Formulated Solutions) and getting great results. I had read that "Shea Butter" was a good ingredient to use for psoriasis.

HYDRONITE HYDRONITE HYDRONITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

It's by R-Sun. The ingrediant Melaleuca well lets just say BRAVO! This particular ingrediant, infact lotion is actually recomended by doctors. Although there is no cure for Psoriasis, while on the skin HYDRONITE erases it...completly! Retails for up to $65, I sell it for $45 (I get a deal), and for customers W/ psoriasis it's sold for $30. The lotion is an indoor tanning lotion however it's also used as an after tan. Hydronite also works well with the older folk, because they tend to have a little more leather to their skin (no offence anyone).

To this day I receive thank you letter's and card's because this lotion has changed lives!

We recommond our clients to use Sea Salt. This helps clear up the patches also. I give them a sample of sea salt to try in their worst area. They always come back for more cause they are amazed how much this helps. Also JA's Radiance is also suppose to help this condition. I just found this out so I have not had a new client in with this problem for them to try out. All the other customers continue to use sea salts.

psoriasis is a very odd condition and people are born with even though some may never have their first break out till late in thier lives.
There are many different approaches and no proven cure for this condition. There are just suggestions becuase different things help different people.

Shea butter is a good suggestion I have seen and read that recomendation several times.
Sea salt is good for removing the scales it is abbrasive and cleans the dead skin away.

When someone has psoriasis they can use so many fricken lotions until they are blue in the face and spend tons of money trying different types of medication. I have even known of people that get cremes from mexico for $4 a tube in which will cost us $85 here in the U.S.
Do not ever suggest a lotion for someone to try that is not tar based becuase it will probably be a waiste of money.
If they are going to continue to try lotions and oils they should be using on that is TAR based and use it consistantly thru out the day.
This is funny, odd, cheap, and smelly but the best thing I have ever used is your everday OLIVE OIL it works better than anything that I have ever tried.
OLIVE OIL !!!!!!!

There are the cases of psoriasis that never scales up they are the ones that just get white spots the lotions , oils, cremes, sea salt they are not recomended for this type
becuase they will not help that is a rare type of psoriasis.

My psoriasis was minor on my knees, elbows and small patches here or there and in my scalp. I have seen very severe cases and it is not pleasent.
My psoriasis is what brought me to this industry after trying several different things many years ago, my doctor finally recomended me to tan with a doctor in town. I did it I hated the drive the price and actually doing it so I could not keep up the constistancy enough to help me. Then my husband bought me my first bed for Christmas and we have been buying beds ever since.
It is kind of funny how things work out when I broke out the first time I was completly devistated for about 2 years and now I think the lord for my psoriasis becuase it is how my been business orginated.
Kind of funny how things work out, hunh!!
Oh yeah, my psoriasis has not broke out in over 2 years with with consistant tanning and olive oil every now and then.

I don't recommend a lotion either I suggest they let the UV rays do the job. If there is a lotion that actually helps, I'd be glad to get the scoop too!
