Our lotion sales are very low... I know I need to provide better training for my employees, so they have the confidence and knowledge to sell... I want to 'arm' my employees with the basics by educating them on what the various contents (the most commonly sought ones)of the lotions do... Can you help me by explaining the benefits/features of the following:
1. DHA
2. Hemp Seed
3. bronzer (I believe this is same as DHA, right?) How does one bronzer differ from another; simply the amount of DHA?
4. Tyrosine. Also, does where this comes on the label in relation to DHA make a difference in its results?
5. coQ-10
6 Tingle; what ingredient is it that causes a tingle and what makes it a 'higher factor' tingle/sizzle
7. cooler; what ingredient is in a lotion if it has coolant? Are some more of a cooling affect than others; i don't seem to notice a cooling affect from the bi-polar by designer skin.
8. Nectar? What is unique/special or maybe I should say, what would be the 'selling strategy' for Secret Rapture? What is Nectar? Is this actually an ingredient listed on the back (I don't have a bottle, just a picture of the front of the bottle). If is it an ingredient, what is its main purpose?

Thank you, thank you, thank you to anyone who can arm me with these basics.

If you carry Cal Tan you can get their Tanning Dollars and Sense book to train your employees on the basics of selling and basics of lotion composition. Also if you carry FIJI Blend you can obtain from your distributor a Lotion manual from them. Also go on www.caltan.com, if you go to www.designerskin.com they have a list of all the ingredients in their products and what they do. Also cal tan has their lotion bible that tells you all of their products as well.

If you carry Tanology, by Raymond Anthony International, they provide all of the training to your employees, as well they provide with screensavers that asked questions to keep your employees thinking about it. Also if you get new employees they install on your PC a knowledgebase to educate the new and existing employees. You can reach them at www.raymondanthony.net

Or I would be happy to send you our Lotion University (TM) 101 booklet that covers all the questions you asked for FREE without buying a thing.

Why? I think salon owners need to know about tanning products . I do not have to hold information hostage to force you to buy from us to get that information. If you like my products then buy them. If not, then I was glad I could help!
