Hey Angela, I carry only one "outdoor" tanning lotion and my daughter and I swear by it. It is called "Maui Babe". When my daughter and I were in Hawaii last year, we tried it and got the best results ever! So I decided to carry it in my salon.

Most people that come in to get a base tan are getting it to go on vacation, so why not buy their outdoor lotion from me too.

I give my customers that I know are going on vacation a sample 2 oz. bottle and only ask of them, to let me know what they think of the product. I would like to carry the whole "Maui Babe" line. Right now all I have are the 2 oz bottles. Will wait and see what my clients feedback is before I get into the big investment. If it doesn't work out, no big deal, my daughter and I will use it.

Email me your address, and I will send you a sample.

Pam

Maui Babe is a good outdoor lotion but it stinks to high heaven. It also contains tons of mineral oil and coffee extract so it can be very messy, especially on towels and clothes.

I used it this summer in the pool and got great color from it.... MJ, I believe Sheila has tested Maui Babe out...

it is extremely oily..... even after applying and swimming in the pool, I had to wipe brown oil off of my skin.

Yes indeed - - we did trial the Maui Baby in our salon.... the folks selling it are really nice and I hated to tell her 'No' .... but holy shintz - NEVER EVER use this indoors.... it might not 'eat the glass' but you will take over an hour stripping it clean.....

I've heard plenty of folks like it for outdoors but again - I think it is the COSMETIC dark that they are impressed with - - - humans are easily impressed.

Best outdoor lotion with an spf of 8 is the JA Sun Care Oil Spray - - - (awesome massage oil too)

American Tan Pure Ice is very nice outside (no spf !!) but really a nice product in the hot zone.

Also the American Tan Dry Oil Plateau Spray is awesome outside.... very kick results without all the slippen and sliding around....

Cal Tan had one called Mesmerize (matahari) that was awesome outside - as was Temptress.... but I don't believe they like makeing poopoo that I like.....

The Carribean whateverthehell it is Attitude 'Slam'n' I sold off all of that as outdoor stuff.... not interested in it as an indoor product....

Chica - did I ever send you that maui poopoo?

if you still have some, I'll be buying it off of you for THIS COMING summer! I did Summer Savings so I don't have to work for 3 months yet still get my regular paycheck. LOTS OF TIME AT THE BEACH AND IN THE OCEAN!!!!
