Rep Power: 0 | Ok folks here is the deal In the salon that I purchased I have a few lines of lotion. I pretty much want to carry them except one. This one in particular is way over stock and just not selling.. as much as we have tried to sell the stuff...it is just not happening...we have done the samples several times. When or how do you deceide to quit and just put the stuff on sale...any thoughts on this I would appreciate! Thanks! |

Rep Power: 107 | I put nothing on sale unless I buy it on sale and pass on the savings. Lotions that I have a hard time selling I sample out or sell them at a bit less than suggested retail but give a free tan or two with it. |

Rep Power: 107 | Sel the bottle for a few bucks off with a couple of free tans. Sample it out at the retail price per volume of the sample plus 10%. That is, if the bottle retails for $50 and you can get 8 samples out of it, the sample would be at least $5.00 and maybe add another 10% because they don't get a volume discount. I sample out at .75 ounces. Therefore you should get 10 samples from an 8 ounce bottle. Therefore, $50 divided by 10 plus 10% equals $5.56 or $5.95 per sample. |
